Driver/Sorter

LOCATION: Bullhead City, AZ

STATUS: Part Time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to meet quotas
• Attitude supporting customer service excellence
• Excellent verbal communication
• Experience in retail merchandising preferred
• Arizona DL with clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort merchandise in preparation for distribution to the sales floor.
• Keep work area and thrift store clean and neat to prevent injury and/or fire.
• Report all accidents or property damage incidents immediately.
• Price and tag donations as requested by supervisor.
• Pick up and refresh sales floor as needed to keep the store in presentable condition.
• Other duties as assigned as they relate to the position of Driver/Sorter
• Responsible for helping load and unload the truck.
• Responsible insuring that all donated items are loaded and unloaded safely on and off the truck.
• All items donated to The Salvation Army are to be brought back to warehouse.
• To insure that the vehicles are for Salvation Army use ONLY and that vehicles are not used for personal transportation or hauling.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms on a continuous basis. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
