Warehouse Administrator

Koch Fertilizer Wever, LLC is looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join our team in Burlington, Iowa. This role is vital in maintaining inventory management and material handling for work orders supporting maintenance, turnaround, and project teams. The Warehouse Attendant will ensure excellence in material and inventory management, including security, proper storage, maintenance, timely receipts, and issuance.

This position will work Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with a possibility of overtime as needed (nights, weekends, holidays, etc.).

• Perform routine warehouse operations, including housekeeping, receiving, storing, picking, packing goods, cycle counting, and offloading trucks.
• Inspect, store, pick, issue, pack, label, load, and dispose of inventory/material.
• Accept supplier deliveries, check items received against packing lists and purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory transfers, create new part numbers, and assist customers.
• Collaborate with the team to implement and manage automated systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and optimize warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Participate in transformational projects aimed at modernizing and future-proofing warehouse operations.
• Practice a high level of safety in all tasks and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align warehouse processes with overall business strategies.

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring warehouses are clean, organized, and free of clutter.

• One or more (1+) years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, agriculture, industrial, or military environment.
• Basic understanding of warehouse automation systems and data analytics tools.
• Forklift certified: certified or willing/able to be certified.
• Willing and able to meet all physical requirements:
• Bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders and elevated sections.
• Ability to walk up or down stairs.
• Wearing a respirator when/where required to perform inspections/job duties.
• Noise levels may require hearing protection.

• Three or more (3+) years of experience in a manufacturing environment in the area(s) of maintenance and/or storeroom.
• Qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields.
• Strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
• Proactive approach to identifying and solving operational challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
