Through collaborative efforts with senior leadership, the Senior Financial Analyst facilitates the decision making process and ensures accuracy of reporting; providing data analytics, forecast modeling, oversight and direction for the day-today/ month end closing processes, and overall management of cash flow. This position is also tasked with maximizing revenue when possible, improving efficiencies, operationalize and executing strategy. In addition to the already established position's scope, the Senior Financial Analyst has been able to take on an increase in responsibilities along with elevated levels of accountability as the departments under management continue to grow. Newly Added Responsibilities: - Financial liaison for BHS encompassing roughly $6M in Grant Contracts and Program Revenue, an additional $8.5M (36 FTE) proposal submitted for 2020-2021 Grant. - Tasked with streamlining billing processes for CMO/UBA $79M; reviewing each program, developing, and implementing new work- flows and procedures to maximize billing and increase year over year revenue collection. - Collaborating with PHA (data analytics) to implement enhanced reporting capabilities for program performance optimization: Health Homes, CMO/UBA, and BHS. - Responsible for CMO Budget development, quarterly reporting, and forecasting. Newly Added Oversight: - The Health Homes program has increased in complexity; adding 10 MCO payers in addition to Medicaid FFS, each requiring A/R reconciliations, monthly collection/posting of remittance, and joint collaboration on implementation of State mandated Outreach Optimization Strategy. - Health Homes has added 5 additional CMA Partners to BAHN Network, further discussions ongoing with new CMAs in 2019/2020. -Scope of CMO/UBA has increased significantly with 3 awarded multi-year Grants; incremental $20M in Annual Revenue. Position reporting directly to Director of Finance. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Finance required Masters degree in Finance preferred 4-6 years of experience with grant programs or medical industry financial required Knowledge in finance, accounting, or healthcare preferred Strong excel skills required Knowledge in financial accounting practices and standards Montefiore Health System, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
