Position Summary: The SOP Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, coordination, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the domains of safety, surety, health, security, and environmental compliance. The SOP coordinator will promote worksite or product safety by applying knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and industrial health and safety laws. This role ensures the organization meets applicable federal, state, and local regulations by conducting regular audits, inspections, and planning initiatives, with a strong focus on workplace safety and risk mitigation. Health and Safety Engineers, Except Mining Safety Engineers and Inspectors, and industrial product safety engineers are the ideal candidate. This role is contingent upon contract award.
