Position Summary:

The Senior Operations Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing organizational performance by analyzing operational data, streamlining business processes, and driving strategic initiatives. This position is responsible for evaluating end-to-end workflows, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains, and developing actionable insights to support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to lead complex operational projects across departments. This role is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Analyze operational performance data, KPIs, and business processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.





  • Develop models, dashboards, and reports to support data-driven decision-making at both strategic and tactical levels.





  • Lead or support cross-functional projects aimed at process optimization, cost reduction, quality improvement, or service enhancement.





  • Collaborate with department leaders to align operational improvements with business goals and customer needs.





  • Conduct root cause analysis for performance issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.





  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflow diagrams, and process documentation.





  • Provide insights and forecasting to aid in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.





  • Monitor implementation of operational changes and measure impact on efficiency, cost, and productivity.





  • Serve as a mentor or resource to junior analysts and project team members.





  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in operations, analytics, and process improvement.




Minimum Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's Degree.





  • At least 7 years of experience in operations analysis, business process improvement, or related roles.





  • Proven ability to lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and drive measurable results.





  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly.





  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile practices.





  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.





  • MBA or related advanced degree.





  • Professional certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CBAP).





  • Strong proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL).





  • Change management experience and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
