Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst with Process for a pure remote contract-to-hire position with our insurance client for Chicago IL. Work hours are in the Central timezone.
About the Role:
We are seeking a flexible and self-motivated Business Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting multiple business units. This role is ideal for a candidate who can jump into projects at any stage, adapt quickly, and drive initiatives with minimal guidance. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to analyze business needs, document system requirements, and support technology implementations that align with strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:
Consult with business units to gather and prioritize technology requirements.
Analyze and evaluate systems, processes, and user needs; identify opportunities for efficiency.
Develop and maintain business documentation (BRDs, data workflows, RFPs, data dictionaries, etc.).
Coordinate data conversions, software implementations, and testing plans including UAT.
Design training materials and facilitate end-user training sessions.
Communicate project goals, timelines, and updates with internal teams and leadership.
Lead status meetings with business stakeholders and development teams.
Collaborate with functional experts to support knowledge sharing and project continuity.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development (insurance experience highly preferred).
Ability to shift seamlessly between business analysis and process analysis roles.
Strong communication skills with experience leading client-facing discussions.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal onboarding support.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, or LAN Desk is a plus.
Knowledge of insurance industry processes and terminology is strongly preferred.

Compensation:
- Hourly W2 pay rate $45.00 - $55.00
- We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire positions with various rate ranges.
