Sr. Specialist II, Tradeshow & Event Management

Job Description:

The Sr. Specialist II, Tradeshow and Event management will be responsible for the overall tradeshow process: from working closely with SMEs to define show strategy, messaging and lead acquisition, to recommending new ideas and strategies, budgeting and negotiating on contracts and vendors, and executing on our 90+ show program.

* Execute on a comprehensive, integrated strategy for tradeshows and other events that drive sales opportunities and strengthen the company's brand reputation.
* Manage, coordinate and monitor tradeshow timelines, logistics and deliverables and ensure all deadlines are met.
*Manage budget, track expenditures, and perform financial reconciliation with accounting.
*Negotiate cost-effective deals with vendors, ensuring efficiency and value for the business.
*Perform comprehensive reviews of Statements of Work (SOWs) and invoices, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of charges.
*Generate timely communications for tradeshow staff and stakeholders, to ensure objectives and requirements are understood.
*Travel approximately 35% of the time to onsite tradeshows, events, and regional meetings.

*Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Experience Required:

* 7+ years of proven success in running tradeshows (hybrid of digital and field) using both internal and external resources
* Demonstrated experience in working with marketing and demand generation teams, using events as activity to support awareness, relationship building and/or lead generation and reporting ROI
* Experience using Salesforce, marketing automation, project management platforms (e.g. Pardot, Asana).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:NextGen Healthcare brand awareness in the marketplace and department processes; trade show and special event best practices; laws, regulations, policies, and procedure governing the functional area; Microsoft Office Suite.

Skill in:Strong project management skills to execute on several tasks simultaneously. Developing and maintaining key relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partnerships; Effective communication and interpersonal skill at all levels, creative, critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, innovative,

Ability to:Ability to lead change in continuous innovation to achieve desired objectives. Ability to remain up to date with the latest trends and best practices in event effectiveness, both digital and field. Management of project, budget, and resources to support success and efficiency.
