Job Title: Procurement Analyst - Telecom Construction Location: Plano, TX- ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE LOCAL TO THE DFW AREA Employment Type: (Full-Time/Contract) Department: Procurement / Telecom Infrastructure About the Role: We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst with a strong background in Telecom Construction to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an up-and-coming professional who understands the complexities of infrastructure buildouts-such as underground boring, permitting, and roadway excavation-and is ready to take the next step in their procurement career. You'll work closely with the Procurement Director and cross-functional teams to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and support the execution of large-scale construction projects. Key Responsibilities: * Support procurement efforts for OSP and Fiber construction projects, focusing on services-not equipment. * Assist in contract negotiation and management for vendors performing construction work (e.g., boring, trenching, permitting). * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and vendor onboarding. * Maintain procurement documentation and support compliance with internal processes. * Contribute to vendor performance evaluations and assist in building vendor scorecards using tools like Power BI and Excel. Must-Have Skills & Experience: * 1+ year of experience in Telecom Construction procurement or related infrastructure projects. * Understanding of construction-related costs and services (e.g., excavation, permitting, underground utility work). * Experience with contract management, vendor negotiations, and procurement operations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and Outlook. * Strong communication and organizational skills. Nice-to-Have Skills: * Familiarity with Power BI or similar data reporting tools (approx. 20% of the role). * Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to learn and adapt to internal procurement systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
