Current Need:

The Ontada team is seeking a Lead FP&A Specialist, Ontada Technology to partner with Provider Technology and Customer Success leadership in driving strategic decision-making and financial performance. This role will lead forecasting, pricing, and long-range planning efforts, while identifying process improvements and delivering executive-level reporting and insights to support business growth and operational efficiency. These responsibilities require strong leadership, customer relationships, and strategic skills to ensure critical decisions and actions are made to foster continued profit growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with individual initiative owners to understand current and potential projects; help shape project progression while ensuring financial implications are understood and communicated

  • Business partnership with direct reports of Technology leadership team. Key contact for operations team on forecast changes.

  • Work with the Provider Technology leadership team to determine pricing for new products.

  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in financial workflows and implement solutions that enhance accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Build long range planning for Customer Success and Head of Product and Engineering Roles

  • Prepare monthly variance analysis to PFcst, Plan and PY. Articulate forecast changes to Customer Success and Head of Product and Engineering Roles

  • Prepare and lead quarterly business reviews with internal business partners.

  • Submit R&O for respective business units

  • Ad hoc requests from leadership's direct reports.

  • Develop leadership reporting decks/dashboards

Minimum Requirement:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master's or Doctorate qualifications.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required - MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience

Critical Skills:

  • 10+ years professional experience within Finance, Strategic Finance, Accounting, or Pricing, or other synergistic area.

  • Strong communication skills including ability to present to Senior/ Executive Leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to developrobustpartnerships with all facets of the organization to execute plans and leveraging various teams across the organization.

  • Exceptionalproblem-solving skills, project and resource management skills, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Deepbusiness acumen and experience partnering with internal leadership.

  • Advancedanalytical skills, with ability to draw conclusions and communicate findings to the business.

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Understanding of business management including profit, return on investment, & break-even analysis

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexible and adaptive to change

  • Exceptional organizational, project management skills are critical

  • Time management, including ability to organize and prioritize work to consistently meet critical daily, weekly and monthly deadlines

  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and report data

  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, financial modeling and reporting.

  • Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external business partners

  • Ability to work with autonomy

  • Able to travel up to 10%

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$122,100 - $203,500
