Community Name: US OH Remote The IT Security Analyst is primarily responsible for protecting the company's data, systems, and networks from Cyber threats. This role involves monitoring the IT infrastructure for security breaches, investigating incidents or violations when they occur, and helping to lead the incident response effort. The IT Security Analyst will work closely with the IT team to maintain and enhance the security posture of the United Church Homes, Inc. infrastructure through proactive analysis, vulnerability management, and the administration of security systems.Essential Functions Statement(s)
SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Experience: Three (3) years of experience in IT security is required. Computer Skills: Proficiency with computers, relevant software, and general office equipment; Strong working knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems; Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, endpoint security solutions (AV/MDR), email security gateways, and vulnerability assessment tools; Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and analysis is highly desired. Certifications & Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GSEC) are a plus. Must obtain and maintain mandatory state and federal requirements for the position. Continuing education in IT-related areas is required. Other Requirements: Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including team members, senior management, and end-users. Must possess a strong technical background in network and systems security. Must have strong project management skills to ensure projects are complete on time and within budget. Valid Driver's License Must be able to effectively perform essential duties while supporting UCH's mission, vision and values, in a professional and ethical manner.
