Financial Analyst 3 M_Otolaryngology Full Time 85373BR Job Summary This position provides complex analytical and financial support, focused on comprehensive ledger management, including deficit monitoring and detailed monthly payroll ledger review and corrections; chart of accounts maintenance; and detailed resident accounting maintenance. The Financial Analyst 3 works closely with the Finance Director and is expected to independently conduct in-depth financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Assignments are often given on a project basis and the incumbent is expected to gather and sort information from multiple sources, and to present the finished product in a clear and concise manner with minimal supervision to support high-level decision-making The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $89,600 - $134,400 (Annual Rate). The Department of ONHS consists of 9 clinical divisions performing ~83,000 procedures including General Otolaryngology; Pediatric Otolaryngology; Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery & Endocrine Surgery; Laryngology; Otology/Neurotology, & Skull Base Surgery; Rhinology & Sinus Surgery; Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery; Sleep Surgery; and Audiology. Outpatient and inpatient clinical activities are performed across 7 sites across the SF Bay area - Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, Zuckerberg San Francisco General, San Francisco VA, Redwood Shores, and Berkeley Outpatient Clinic. The Department of OHNS also consists of 5 research laboratories with ~$11M in sponsored research revenue in FY24/FY25 - Coleman Memorial Laboratory, Speech Neuroscience Laboratory, Epstein Laboratories, Head & Neck Cancer Research, and Skull Base and Cerebrovascular Lab.
