Who you are:

We're always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Core UX team. In this role, you'll direct product development from conception to launch, discovering, developing, and carefully cultivating existing and new products and solutions to support the needs of Geotab's customers. What you'll do:

The Senior Product Manager for Core UX will own and drive the evolution of the foundational user experience of the MyGeotab application. You will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and execution of core product areas including navigation, system settings, and our Zenith UI framework and design system. This is a strategic role focused on creating a seamless, intuitive, and cohesive user journey for all Geotab customers. This position requires a highly analytical and user-centric mindset to work cross-functionally with UX design, engineering, and other product teams to deliver solutions that enhance usability and drive high levels of customer adoption and satisfaction.


How you'll make an impact:


  • Develop a deep understanding of the core user journeys and platform infrastructure needed to support user engagement and adoption across all of Geotab's solutions.



  • Own the product vision and roadmap for foundational UX components, including Menu, Toolbars, System Settings, Rules, and the Audit Log.



  • Define and optimize the core user lifecycle within the application, focusing on seamless interaction and support experiences.



  • Drive the strategy for core application features such as Asset Details, Inventory management, and in-platform Messaging.



  • Champion and govern the Zenith UI Framework and Design System, ensuring consistent and high-quality user interfaces across the platform.



  • Perform discovery interviews with partners and customers to identify core usability gaps and generate new ideas to improve Geotab's overall customer experience.



  • Leverage user research, analytics, and market inputs to identify common patterns, pain points, and opportunities to enhance the core application experience.



  • Prioritize initiatives by balancing foundational improvements and technical debt with long-term strategic investments for the business.



  • Define and analyze metrics for user engagement, feature adoption, and task completion to measure the success of UX improvements.



  • Collaborate with other product managers to ensure a cohesive end-to-end customer journey, from the first interaction through to support and post-sales activities.



  • Clearly communicate the 'Why' for every product effort, educating stakeholders on the user problems and business objectives. In collaboration with UX designers, developers, and data scientists, you willLead problem and solution validation through user testing and prototypes.Translate user needs into detailed user stories, feature epics, and acceptance criteria.Work closely with technical project managers and engineering teams toward execution.



  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to continuously iterate on and improve the core user experience.




What you'll bring to the role:


  • 5+ years experience in product management and/or customer discovery.



  • Experience in a SaaS environment is highly valued.



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



  • Good listener, empathetic and enjoy interacting with customers.



  • Ability to stitch together disparate insights to uncover common patterns.



  • Strong presentation skills (in person and virtually) and ability to deliver training effectively.



  • Self starter, resourceful with strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.



  • Strategic mindset, with a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes.



  • Strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.



  • Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.



  • Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.



  • Experience with reporting or business analysis.



  • High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.



  • Strong organizational skills to be able to manage products through discovery to launch and continuous review.



  • Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).



  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.



  • Experience leveraging customer success tools (i.e., Salesforce) an asset.
