*Job Description**This position will assume TV front end support when the existing TVR vendor support contract ends. Replacing vendor supported service using in-house resources. This person will be mainly swapping out equipment and needs to be personable while walking the floors and talking to doctors, nurses and other staff members.*
** Restores TV service, including patient TV, directly contributing to patient satisfaction scores* ** Individual will be providing TV support for the NYU Langone Long Island Hospital* ** Addresses reported TV issues/inquiries in a timely and optimal manner* ** Participates and aides in projects related to TV implementation and/or deployment* ** Works with the outgoing TV Service provider (TVR) to transition and support pCare system* ** Subject matter expert on TV support; responsible to cross-train desktop team members* ** Oversee TV inventory for break/fix* ** Responsible for data analytics and reporting* ** Provide clinical desktop support (in addition to TV support)* *Responsibilities:* *1. Help oversee the TV services at the main campus as we move off TVR Services.* ** 2. Help coordinate TV related incidents and events such as* ** a. Oversee the Cable TV services queue for incoming requests and assure they are addressed in a timely manner.* ** b. Restores TV service, including patient TV* ** c. TV screen replacements* ** d. Pillow speaker replacements* ** e. Liaise with Media Collaboration/LIH Operations for inpatient TV service with external vendor* ** f. Coax TV service investigation* ** g. Coordinate support with 3rd party support vendors* ** h. Learn the PCare system to perform basic TV administration on occasion.* ** I. Help coordinate additional resources as needed to replace TV's.* ** j. Coordinate service events with service owner (Telecomm).* ** 3. Help oversee TV inventory* ** 4. Provide weekly reports of TV service incident requests* ** 5. Participate in weekly service reviews with management.* ** 6. Provide clinical desktop support in addition to TV support* ** 7. Responsible for data analytics and reporting* ** 8. Subject Matter Expert on TV support* ** 9. Provides cross-training to other desktop teams* *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
