Supply Chain & Logistics Analyst

Location: Katy, TX

Job type: Full time

What You'll Do



  • Support Warehouse and Transportation department managers in gathering and organizing data mining, data analysis, reporting, presentation and follow up.
  • Support Warehouse and Transportation in maintaining accurate and current equipment lists.
  • Support/participate in process development, implementation, and optimization.
  • Be primary SME for Smartsheet, Power BI, Insights, etc.
  • Develop Monthly, Weekly, Daily reporting on KPIs, efficiencies, productivity, and cost savings.
  • Support Transportation in developing robust post-route analysis and driver performance metrics and reporting.
  • Project work as requested regarding Warehousing Logistics and Transportation.
  • Collaborate with CDC Warehouse, Transportation and Safety teams to align data insights and achieve operational goals.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.



What You Bring


* The preferred candidate will have 2+ years of industry-related experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, legal documents, or government regulations.
  • Ability to understand and manage systems, software, and processes.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel. Prior experience with Power BI is also preferred.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and ERP platforms.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management and speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors, or employees.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, savings, proportions, and percentages.
  • produce and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to solve practical problems where only limited information and standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
