Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Statistician I to support the US Army National Guard (USARNG) G-1 Human Resources Management System (HRMS) contract. This entry-level role involves assisting in the development and application of statistical methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data. The Statistician I works under the guidance of more senior statisticians and analysts to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Assist in applying mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze HR and operational data.

Support the design and implementation of data collection and analysis strategies.
Help interpret and summarize statistical findings to produce usable information.
Contribute to the preparation of reports, charts, and visualizations.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in data handling and analysis.
Collaborate with senior statisticians and program staff to support performance measurement and reporting.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to perform functional duties under the oversight of more senior staff.
Familiarity with statistical software and data visualization tools.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
Up to 3 years of professional experience in statistical analysis or a related field.
Must have a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
Must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with government or military data systems.
Exposure to economic statistics or workforce analytics.
Understanding of data privacy and security standards in a federal environment.
