The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. Acts as a material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Cincinnati, OH, site. This role will work the 2nd shift, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required. We offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $30 to $35 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role

  • Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
  • Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
  • Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
  • Build and close work orders in the asset management system, accurately recording labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
  • Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine the resources needed to resolve them successfully.
  • Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
  • Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Respond to service calls and address equipment failures and faults promptly.
  • Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
What We Are Looking For
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required. Typically, an Associate degree or relevant experience preferred. Niche skill training/certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated general knowledge of technical or specialty areas.
  • Proven experience in similar roles, with a successful track record in key responsibilities as outlined above.
  • Physical capability to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Ability to occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
  • Functional dexterity in both hands and wrists.
  • Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
  • Able to work in diverse conditions: small spaces, dust, fumes, hot/cold temperatures, noise, vibration, wet surfaces.
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
  • Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as needed.
