Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM (M-F)

Duration: 6 + months

Job Description:

  • We are looking for a shipping and receiving quality technician to perform shipping warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity.
  • The shipping and receiving quality senior technician responsibilities include shipping parts according to purchase order requirements and customer specific requirements, ensuring the quality of goods, preparing relevant documentation and integrity of parts.
  • Technician will report to shipping leader.
  • The quality assurance technician will need to do visual aircraft part inspections, package aircraft parts according to ATA 300 specs and inspect all trace documentation/airworthiness documents.
  • An outstanding technician should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • The dual role in repairs will deal with the pull/staging of aircraft parts, visual inspections of parts, packaging to ATA 300 specs, and shipping them to the repair shop.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Execution of daily schedule and activities to meet shipping department goals/throughputs.
  • Reporting to shipping lead on shipping.
  • Tracking and coordinating timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Validate cycle count inventory reporting and ensure inventory is audit ready.
  • Determine and track warehouse kpi's.
  • Maintain records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
  • Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
  • Ensure proper coordinating for all incoming and outgoing shipments as required.
  • Responsible for compliance of shipping areas to include but not limited to material handling, housekeeping, foreign object elimination and hazardous waste programs.
  • Development of a flexible and cross-trained workforce with daily performance that includes execution of daily goals and identification of non-conformance issues.
  • Monitor safety performance and insure proper personal protection equipment (ppe) is available and being used appropriately, and ensure proper resources are available.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Faa Airframe and Powerplant
  • Strong Working Knowledge of Warehouse Operations.
  • Preferred Lean Management Knowledge.
  • Time Management Skills.
  • Excellent Leadership and Organizational Skills.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Problem-Solving Skills.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Highschool Degree And *5* Years of Prior Relevant Experience or Comparable Experience.
  • Forklift Certification will Be Needed to Perform Job Responsibilities, Prior Forklift Certification Preferred, However Training Can Be Provided.
  • Be Able to Lift 40 Pounds.
