Job Description |
ECU Department of Athletics - Pirate Club is currently seeking several Development and Stewardship Assistants.
This position's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Communicate and work collaboratively with Pirate Club staff regarding fundraising activities and promotional initiatives that require coordination, set up, preparation and additional staffing needs.
- Assist with all Pirate Club social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
- Collaboration with East Carolina Athletics departments (including, but not limited to marketing, creative media, video and media relations) on athletics promotional and sales campaigns as it relates to attendance and revenue generation.
- Work with Capital Campaign and Student Pirate Club gift fulfillment
- Distribute/ assemble membership packets
- Work Pirate Club events golf tournaments, donor events, etc..
- Work closely with Pirate Club staff on donor recognition throughout assigned sport seasons and/or in support of departmental initiatives.
- Interact professionally and effectively with co-workers, donors and stakeholders on all levels, including face-to-face, phone and electronic communications.
- Build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with athletics staff, Pirate Club employees, and University staff and students, and all constituents and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
