Sales Development Representative

What you'll do:

• Conduct outbound phone sales by calling mortgage bankers and qualifying them as applicants for approval in one of Correspondent Lending's two business channels, Delegated and Non Delegated.
• Move leads through the CRM sales funnel to improve and expedite client acquisition results. Document all call and task activity, update notes and maintain records in CRM.
• Facilitate communication with prospects to ensure all pre-approval questions and inquiries are addressed.
• Collaborate with outside Sales when necessary to drive home AmeriHome's value proposition to prospects. Assist with scrubbing Excel data list. You must be proficient in Excel and familiar with commonly used formulas.

What you'll need:

• 1+ years of related experience in B2B sales, client facing role or similar field.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
