About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and implementing LC-MS bioanalytical methods to support the quantitative analysis of small molecules, peptides, and proteins in biological matrices. This position also involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support drug discovery and development programs.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Develop and execute LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods for the quantification of small molecules, peptides, and proteins in biological samples from preclinical Pharmacokinetic and Toxicokinetic studies

  • Proficiency in sample preparation techniques for biological matrices, such as solid-phase extraction, protein precipitation and affinity purification

  • Strong expertise in LC-MS/MS method development, optimization and troubleshooting on Triple Quadrupole (Sciex or similar) or Orbitrap HRMS

  • Perform Pharmacokinetic analysis and modeling using Phoenix Winnonlin

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support preclinical studies by providing bioanalytical support and data interpretation.

  • Contribute to the preparation of bioanalytical protocols and study reports

Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related discipline and 2+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience OR

  • MS/MA degree in chemistry or closely related field preferred and some similar industry experience noted above OR

  • PhD in chemistry or closely related field and some industry or relevant experience a plus

  • Hands-on experience in bioanalytical method development for various therapeutic modalities using LC-MS/MS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
