Overview: The Cara Fuentes Lab's focus is on Idiopathic Nephrotic Syndrome and the goal is to identify novel predictive and therapeutic targets to help individualize patient care and provide more accurate prognosis and better therapies for children with kidney disease. Particularly, the candidate will primarily focus on the crosstalk between circulating immune cells and glomerular cells, including endothelial cells and podocytes.
