Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a
Unit Program Coordinator
to support the 53d Test and Evaluation Group (53d TEG) Detachment 1 at Nellis AFB, NV. Candidate will be responsible for work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting the initial standup and follow-on Operational Test of the Air Force's first F-47 (6th Generation Fighter) unit. This position has the primary responsibility of ensuring high-level administrative program support for the military and civilian personnel of 53d TEG/Det 1. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, operators, maintainers, and analysts, and will have strong problem-solving, adaptability, communication, leadership, and attention to detail skills.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate will oversee all Unit Program Coordinator (UPC) functions for 53d TEG/Det 1. This includes ensuring unit program compliance with regulations, laws, policies, and commander directives.
Essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for administrative support programs to the unit Commander such as Cyber security Liaison (CL), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel Systems (DTS) administrator, drug demand program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (APDE) accounts, Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT), healthcare program, supply program, civilian timecard program, unit recognition program, and others as assigned
- Serve as the organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel flight on military and civilian personnel issues
- Draft, edit, and finalize official correspondence, including emails, memos, and letters ensuring adherence to Air Force style guides and regulations
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files, ensuring compliance with record management policies. This includes archiving and retrieving documents as needed
- Utilize software tools for tracking tasks, assignments, deadlines, and provide updates to leadership
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of personnel, including processing paperwork
- Enter data into spreadsheets and databases, generating reports, and performing basic data analysis
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 15 years' experience working as a Unit Program Coordinator
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365
- This position will require a strong ability and willingness to work in a team environment, with demonstrated leadership, customer interface, and organizational skills.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- *5+ years of recent experience (within the last 10 years) with Unit Program Coordinator duties
- 5+ years working in administrative roles in a military environment
- 5+ years working in a classified environment (Secret level or higher)
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree + 10 years relevant experience OR Master's Degree + 5 years relevant experience OR 15 years relevant experience
Security Clearance:
- Eligibility for Secret clearance required
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS SCI/SAP clearances required. Current TS/SCI desired
- All hires will be contingent on candidate meeting requirements for and gaining required security clearances
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
Travel Requirements:
- Routine travel is not expected but may be required based on mission requirements
- Expectation is that work will be performed onsite
- Occasional telework options may be available with approval from mission partner
