Leading Cloud Security and governance team. Designing and implementing security policies and guardrails in coordination with TPD Application Security and Verizon Cyber Security teams. Monitoring and notifying teams of security guardrail issues for each product and SOE as a whole. Working in close partnership with Verizon Cyber Security team to align on the logging requirements. Aligning with the TPD Product Security team for regular updates and alignment on security guardrails. Partnering with AVP & Sr Directors in VCS organization & TPD Prod Security to align on the security requirements for Verizon and define the scope of work for SOE. Partnering with leaders in TPD Product Security to align on security requirements from a product perspective. Partnering with VCS on GCP and Azure account governance policies and implementing a streamlined process for TPD. Designing and building the security guardrails and supporting verification of capabilities. Developing and managing the Kion integration and optimizing the management of compliance requirements on the platform. Extending Kion managed Cloud Custodian functionality to automate Firewall Management and other runtime security auto-remediation. Implementing the TPD Product Security related requirements to secure the products on SOE. Implementing the core framework for GCP and Azure in TPD that the development teams can leverage for product development. Focus on employee hiring, career development, rotation and succession planning. Identifying opportunities for operational and management automation, partnering with our Verizon India team.

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Development Engineer, Software DevOps Engineer, Network Security Engineer, IT Analyst, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include the followings:

• 4 years with Network security implementation using on-premise and cloud Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Firewall devices, static and dynamic network route management, and access control using policies including Identity Providers;

• 3 years with Cloud and containerization technologies in Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Elastic Container Service (ECS), AWS Lambda serverless, Kubernetes, and Docker;

• 2 years Implementing, managing, and governing security controls across cloud environments, using technologies such as network firewalls, load balancers, encryption, public key infrastructure, and identity management; and

• 1 year Implementing Cloud security principles and best practices for AWS platform, using industry frameworks such as OWASP Top 10, NIST, CSA, and CIS benchmarks.
