Summary
Responsible for identifying potential study participants, explaining study protocols and requirements, obtaining informed consent, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Identify and screen potential participants for eligibility in clinical research studies through various methods, such as medical record review, patient referrals, and outreach efforts. -Communicate with healthcare providers and research team members to identify eligible participants and discuss enrollment opportunities. -Develop and implement recruitment strategies to ensure the enrollment goals of research studies are met. -Explain the purpose, procedures, and potential risks and benefits of the research study to potential participants, ensuring their understanding. -Obtain informed consent from eligible participants, following ethical and regulatory guidelines.
