Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay

  • $37.00 - $43.00+ per hour (based on experience)

Premiums

  • $1.00/hour Lead Premium
  • $1.00/hour CDL Premium (for valid CDL-A or CDL-B holders)

Tool Allowance

  • $125/month

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and support swing shift mechanics
  • Assign tasks and monitor progress
  • Lead daily safety talks and enforce safety policies

Shop Operations

  • Prioritize and assign repairs
  • Manage shift coverage and break schedules
  • Oversee work orders and vehicle condition reports

Fleet Maintenance

  • Diagnose and repair diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems
  • Use diagnostic tools (e.g., Cummins INSITE, Davie-4, Allison DOC)
  • Perform preventative maintenance and MIG welding
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of diesel or heavy truck repair experience
  • Proficient with diagnostic software and basic computer skills
  • Must have personal tools and toolbox
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
  • CDL A or B preferred (not required)
  • Welding experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

This is a safety-sensitive position. Employment is contingent upon passing a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
