Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Quality Inspector to be based out of Louisville, KY. Reporting to the Quality Lead, this person will be responsible for monitor operations and processes to ensure products are being produced according to standards. They review specifications, oversee processes, and identify defects in goods and materials. Some quality control inspectors make suggestions to improve the efficiency and accuracy of machines and operations.

What you'll bring:

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage deadlines accordingly.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a standard level of accuracy and organization.
* Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues.
* Ability to interpret complex construction plans and specifications.
* Ability to write reports using Microsoft Word or Excel.
* Ability to work with a fast-paced team in an aggressive construction environment.
* Knowledgeable with the NSF standards and certifications.
* Must have good proficiency in MS Office products including Word and Excel
* Strong ability to multitask, and work independently under pressure, and within tight deadlines.
* Ability to define and troubleshoot issues, analyze and interpret data, evaluate options, and make recommendations for action.
* Ability to create clear, concise, test plans and cases from specifications or verbal instructions

What you'll bring:

1-2 Years of previous experience in QA
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations.
* Must be adaptable to changes.
* Able to read and use Tape measures and math basic knowledge.
* The employee will be required to focus on reading/evaluating documents and is expected to have great attention to detail.
* Quality previous experiences preferred.

  • Gain an understanding of your team and the areas you support.

    As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $44,160 - $60,720. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
