We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our facility's upkeep and maintenance under the supervision of the GMT supervisor. This role demands quality workmanship, high standards, and professionalism in a dynamic work environment. Pay Rate: $25 - $38 per hour (based on experience) Schecule: 7 am- 3:30 pm The Maintenance Technician reports to the GMT supervisor and supports facility maintenance. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and at least 4 years of hands-on experience in general facility maintenance, including plumbing, drain and sewer troubleshooting, and equipment servicing. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including drains, leaks, backflows, boilers, and restroom fixtures. Install and fix piping for water, compressed air, drains, and process systems. Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot HVAC and electrical equipment. Assist with snow removal and operate snow equipment in winter. Support electricians and plumbers, adhering to safety protocols. Communicate with GMT supervisor to prioritize service requests. Maintain professionalism and positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members. Handle general maintenance: painting, patching, hanging pictures, ceiling tile replacement, carpentry, and furniture repair. Organize supply rooms and maintain maintenance records using basic computer skills. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. 3+ years facility maintenance experience; 4+ years in plumbing service/remodeling. Valid Colorado Plumbing Journeyman License and US driver's license. Must be 21+ years old. Strong ability to read safety rules and manuals. Good verbal communication skills. Knowledge of plumbing systems; Backflow certification preferred. Basic electrical, painting, carpentry, and maintenance skills. Able to work independently and in teams with strong troubleshooting abilities. Professional attitude with excellent customer service. Able to manage multiple maintenance tasks and keep organized records. Physically able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and walk the facility. Comfortable working in an industrial environment with casual dress. Willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and perform outdoor tasks like snow removal and landscaping.
