Overview

Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our well-established Quality Assurance Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to develop their skills, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with project managers, developers, product managers, and occasionally with sales and support teams to help ensure we deliver a high-quality trading platform to our users.

This role offers hands-on experience and mentorship opportunities, making it a great fit for someone looking to build a career in Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing functional and regression tests based on provided test cases and requirements.
  • Review business and functional requirements with guidance to understand testing needs.
  • Create test cases that will validate business and functional requirements.
  • Support the QA team in maintaining and updating manual test cases.
  • Participate in test execution across different environments and document results clearly.
  • Learn to test applications in multi-tiered architecture with support from senior team members.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA leads to understand the software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
  • Help identify and report bugs and assist in verifying fixes.
  • Support basic troubleshooting of configuration issues under supervision.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or business-related field.
  • Some experience or coursework in software testing, preferably with web-based applications or experience in financial markets or commodities trading.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA processes.
  • Familiarity with writing and executing test cases.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn from feedback.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exposure to testing application such as ALM, Jira or similar tool set is a plus.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) or programming/scripting is a bonus, but not required.
  • Eagerness to grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to a dynamic team
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
  • Interest in financial markets or commodities trading is a plus
