Pay Rate: $26 - $32/hr.

Schedule: 7am - 4pm, 40 hours per week, general business hours

Key Responsibilities:



  • Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including OSHA standards, lock-out/tag-out protocols, and proper PPE use.
  • Perform regular shift rounds to inspect systems, buildings, and equipment, documenting performance and identifying issues.
  • Inspect equipment for operating characteristics such as speed, pressure, wear, and replace expendables like belts, fluids, and filters.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnose malfunctions in systems and equipment.
  • Handle administrative tasks including ordering materials, managing budgets, coordinating vendors, and scheduling PMs.
  • Document and manage work orders in CMMS, analyze maintenance data, and recommend updates to maintenance plans.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers, manage maintenance projects, support KPIs, and assist with budgeting and reporting.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma required; preference for candidates with business or trade school training.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry work, or equivalent training and manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license; forklift and JLG operator licenses are a plus.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret instructions, safety rules, maintenance manuals, and write routine reports; proficiency in Microsoft Office and various maintenance software tools required.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools, disassembling/reassembling equipment, and performing general plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
  • Proficient with Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, life safety systems, and operating lifts (forklift, scissor, aerial); certifications preferred.
  • Must be adaptable to changing priorities, able to solve practical problems, and willing to work non-standard hours, including weekends and on-call rotations; EPA 608 Universal or CFC certification is desired.
