Location: Hurst, TX Job ID: #71325 Pay Range: $40-70 AN HOUR 6 MONTH CONTRACT ******1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm******* 1. Integrate Renishaw probing cycles or similar probing systems into CNC programs to automate workpiece setup, improve accuracy, and potentially reduce errors. 2. Possess strong knowledge of G-code for CNC machines to manually program pp-statements for point to point probing operation within CATIA V6 machining environment. Ability to decipher and create new pp-statements is required. 3. Complete the creation and validation of production ready data models and associated functional decompositions, logical decompositions, and traceability. 4. Successfully complete all non-recurring CNC Programming requirements for the Repair and Overhaul Center (ROC) for machining of grips and yokes. 5. Successfully perform auxiliary CAD design for production support in accordance to Repair and Overhaul Center (ROC) requirements. Experience & Other Requirements: 1.) Two (2) years college and two (2) years of experience or equivalent four (4) years of experience, with preferred courses in: A.) Math through Trigonometry and Analytical Geometry B.) Engineering material C.) Processing Technology D.) Trained in CADAM, CATIA, and APT programming E.) Manufacturing methods and procedures 2.) Catia (V6 / 3DX) modeling and surfacing experience 3.) At least two (2) years of NC Programming experience. Preferred Qualifications: * Working knowledge of CATIA (V6 / 3DX) NC Programming * 5-axis CNC NC Programming experience * 5-axis CNC Probing Programming experience * Familiarity with Gidding & Lewis and/or Starrag Heckert 5-Axis machines 1.) Maintains complete documentation of programs to ensure effective process control. 2.) Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, Bell Process Framework, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work. 3.) Capable of scheduling several assignments and possesses the skills required to submit reliable cost/hour estimated: capable of directing other individuals work flow with respect to specific programs. 4.) Develops, Creates and Maintains Tooling/Fixture definition for manufacturing operations for all media types including MCAD and manual legacy designs. 5.) Skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances. 6.) Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Loft MCAD models, flat patterns and associated digital tooling programs. 7.) Executes creation and maintenance of CATIA (V6 / 3DX) programs and operator instructions for Numerical Controlled equipment. 8.) Must have experience with CATIA (V6 / 3DX) and visible on the resume.
