Amsoil is currently seeking an Account Manager.



Field-based sales position accountable for a specific geographic territory or defined business segment comprised of an existing customer base. Develop new business opportunities within that existing customer base and generate year over year sales revenue and margin growth. Maintain high standards of business ethics and professionalism to enhance AMSOIL'S image as the leading manufacturer of metalworking fluids and industrial lubricants in the industry. Successfully communicate and fulfill corporate strategy and objectives.



EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Account Management & Growth:

    • Develop and nurture relationships with existing accounts. Increase understanding of customers key business drivers and adding points of contacts to establish breadth of relationships.
    • Grow sales by selling additional products to existing accounts (increase share-of-wallet).
    • Grow sales by educating customers and their employees to make them more successful and knowledgeable.
    • Develop and successfully give sales proposals and technical presentations.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing top tier technical support, product recommendations, and problem resolution.


  • Business Process:

    • Provide timely and accurate reports regarding customer performance, sales activity, expenses, competitor information and activity.
    • Work closely with internal functions to support customer needs e.g., delivery, sample analysis.
    • Support customer / distributor sales and product training as needed.


  • Professionally represent AMSOIL to the marketplace:

    • Develop relationships based on trust and value-added service to current and future accounts.
    • Represent AMSOIL professionally in all aspects of work including travel.
