POSITION OVERVIEW:

The eCommerce Analytics Manager will spearhead initiatives aimed at analyzing digital behavior and performance with the goal of providing actionable insights that enable ongoing optimization of Nespresso's website and mobile application. This position will collaborate closely with eCommerce, CX, and Data teams to design and implement foundational digital insights and dashboards, robust testing methodologies, and actionable insights derived from site and app data. The Manager will lead a team that supports the eCommerce team by overseeing critical data and insight needs including testing, web and app behavior / performance, personalization insights, and the overall eCommerce roadmap. In addition, they will ensure accurate and precise data through effective tracking and tagging implementation supported by the eCommerce Engineering team. The Manager will evangelize data democratization by enabling self-service reporting capabilities and instilling stakeholder empowerment while also playing a pivotal leadership role in sharing insights during broader planning cycles and cross-functional connections. Beyond managing core reporting and experimentation frameworks, this individual will lead and develop a team of analysts, fostering a culture of learning, curiosity, and digital innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with eCommerce team on launch of new site features, focusing on testing and measurement plan to determine impact.
  • Ensure tagging and analytics implementation (in collaboration with the dev team) support accurate tracking of user actions.
  • Analyze onsite and in-app behavior to identify friction points and optimization opportunities across the purchase journey.
  • Share insights from ad hoc and post launch analyses with eCommerce team in weekly standing meeting.
  • Collaborate with eCommerce team on developing hypotheses from these insights to form a robust testing and optimization roadmap.
  • Provide post promo & personalization campaign insights on how key marketing and media initiatives impact site or app behavior and recommend optimizations to meet both short and long-term goals.
  • Own the framing, design, duration and analysis of A/B, multivariate & personalization tests across both the website and app.
  • Assess feasibility of proposed tests in partnership with the Dev team.
  • Ensure tagging and analytics implementation (in collaboration with the Dev team) support accurate tracking of testing outcomes.
  • Build and maintain library of test set ups and results to ensure continuous improvement on known insights.
  • Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to improve site / app customer experience and driven increased conversion, engagement and (when measurable) brand loyalty.
  • Partner with CX, eCommerce, and broader Data & Insights teams to create and execute on-site and in-app optimization roadmap that supports broader CX initiatives.
  • Support integration of lift calculations into forecasting and planning cycle processes.
  • Works to align with HQ on the development and implementation of aligned AB Testing best practices.
  • Own weekly, monthly, and campaign-specific reporting and dashboard creation for web and app performance, focusing on conversion, funnel behavior, engagement, and revenue metrics.
  • Champion self-service usage of BI reporting tool, ensuring proper training and confidence in data for stakeholders.
  • Share learnings, best practices, and data needs with analytics counterparts in HQ and other markets to drive continuous improvement for the U.S.
  • Partner with Data Capabilities team on data quality and accuracy for reporting and to prioritize data requirements for expanding use cases.
  • Work with team members to drive consistency & excellence in deliverables.
  • Develop team skill sets and manage their workload effectively.
  • Ensure projects are prioritized and tied to larger business strategy.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, learning, and iteration across teams.
  • Develop and own implementation of long-term digital analytics roadmap.

EDUCATION AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar field is required. Master's Degree is preferred but not required.
  • At least 5 years of advanced analytics with at least 2 years of people leadership experience is a must.
  • 2 or more years of experience working with on-site A/B testing and in an ecommerce environment is required.
  • Combination of experience across Google Analytics, Adobe, GTM, data visualization tools, SQL, Big Query, Python, R, SQL or similar tools is required.

The approximate pay range for this position is $145,000- $170,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
