Position/Department Summary: Plans, directs and executes operational plans of multiple unique laboratory sections for the Department of Laboratory Medicine encompassing the technical, regulatory/compliance and administrative support areas. Working with and through a team of direct managers/supervisors and medical/administrative staff, manages ongoing operational efficiencies and significant process improvement initiatives. Maintains compliance with the Joint Commission, federal, state, local and hospital regulatory agencies and other regulatory requirements across all labs. Additionally, assists the Executive Director in the management and fiscal oversight of the department. Reports to the Executive Director or Chief. Key Responsibilities: Planning
