As the Senior International Logistics Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of international logistics, ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods across global borders. You will apply a strong understanding of logistics fundamentals-preferably with international experience-and leverage advanced Excel skills to support decision-making and resolve routine issues independently. In this detail-oriented and fast-paced role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems, maintain operational accuracy and timeliness, and continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve logistics processes. Issue Resolution & Escalations: Serve as the escalation point for immediate logistics and transportation issues, ensuring timely resolution. Transportation Cost Management: Manage and benchmark the lowest landed transportation costs using Path to Market tools and data. Shipment Tracking: Track international shipments weekly, including weekends, to ensure on-time delivery and issue mitigation. Equipment & Booking Management: Oversee equipment availability, dwell time, and manage rolled bookings to maintain efficient flow of goods. Cold Storage Coordination: Coordinate loading appointments at cold storage facilities and monitor loading to support timely deliveries. Cold Storage Capacity Management: Ensure operational coverage at cold storage facilities is maximized and system capacity is accurately maintained. Accessorial Charges Oversight: Validate and approve all accessorial charges promptly to avoid delays or inaccuracies in billing. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with all customs regulations, import/export laws, and applicable trade agreements. Process Improvement: Identify and drive opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the international logistics process. Claims Support: Provide operational support and ensure closure for all active freight-related claims. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal and external teams to roll out best practices across the logistics function. Leadership: Drives a positive employee experience through leadership by way of employee development and coaching.

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in team development and management. Financial & Business Acumen: Thorough understanding of financial and general business principles. International Logistics Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of international logistics, including ocean freight and drayage. Technical Proficiency: High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Attention to Detail: Demonstrates consistently high standards of accuracy. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Communication & Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; self-motivated with strong organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability. Execution & Planning: Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute tasks effectively. Team Collaboration: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work well with others.
