OptumRx helps consumers obtain the medications and products they need to live healthier lives. OptumRx is a leading pharmacy benefit management (PBM) company managing the prescription drug benefit of commercial, Medicare and governmental health plans, as well as those of employers and unions.

The successful candidate will participate in the pricing activities of RFPs (Requests For Proposals) and will acquire a breadth of knowledge in all financial/operational aspects of our business. Primary Responsibilities:



  • Support overall effort to win new business and retain current clients
  • Leverage business knowledge to propose solutions to business challenges regularly in a dynamic work environment
  • Build and maintain financial models to assist in the economic analysis of market alternatives
  • Evaluate and recommend alternative pricing options and plan design changes based on economic analyses and trends
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Proposals teams to project pricing and profit for a range of services and products the company offers
  • Gather, summarize and analyze detailed data

Required Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of financial/accounting analysis skills
  • Solid MS Excel and database querying skills



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Healthcare or pharmaceutical background
  • Financial consulting experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
