SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

It is the responsibility of the Loan Closing Business Analyst to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. Position reports to and works in tandem with the Loan Closing Systems & Reporting Analyst to ensure reporting timelines are met and all Document Prep application issues and updates are resolved and completed in a timely manner. Document Prep applications duties include testing for application releases, configuration and implementation of application functionality required for process/product enhancements or initiatives, communication with Vendors regarding any application issues, and review of Vendor correspondences to determine applicability and communication of information, ensuring the systems are utilized to maximum potential. Reporting responsibilities include assisting with regular reporting of Loan Closing/Loan Compliance business performance through dashboard metrics and ad hoc analytics. Position will assist in developing and/or maintaining documentation related to processes such as functional overview documents, business flows, procedures, job aids, and release documentation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our Document Prep applications for loan closings and for all requests that require changes to the Document Prep systems, including performing updates in test and production environments and maintaining documentation of changes for audit purposes.

  • Assist with providing consulting services for business partners on new initiatives by assessing, researching, and analyzing business needs as it relates to the use of our Document Prep applications.

  • Create and execute test scripts for end user and production release phases.

  • Validate, troubleshoot, and resolve end user issues.

  • Create, maintain, and enhance LaserPro and TruStage loan documentation used by Loan Closing, which includes but is not limited to User Guides, Job Aids, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and Business Process Flows.

  • Assist with planning and implementation of future application releases and integrations.

  • Ensure loan documents adhere to product specifications and regulatory requirements with Compliance and Legal approval.

  • Assist in performing ad hoc data analysis. Communicate results of data analysis in written and verbal form to management team and business partners.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and dashboard metrics. Review and validate data to ensure accurate reporting.

  • Keep management apprised of any system or compliance issues which could negatively affect the bank.

  • Work with designated personnel in each area to implement any new products and/or to update existing products.

  • Respond to inquiries from closing teams, lenders, and other bank personnel.

  • Ensure compliance with the Corporate Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other operating policies and procedures. Complete all compliance training.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and/or specific experience or training in a related field preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ years' experience in an IT or Business Analyst role with analyzing and troubleshooting system issues for multiple vendors and/or departments inside/outside bank; new software implementation and development; user support. Experience with consumer and/or commercial loan closings. Project management experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of consumer and/or commercial bank products and fundamental understanding of project management methodologies. Proficient with Microsoft Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Power Bi experience is a plus. Knowledge of LaserPro and TruStage Document Prep systems and DocuSign is preferred.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to effectively access and interpret information via various computer systems, documents, and reports. Evening and weekend hours may be required as business needs warrant.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

For telecommuters or hybrid: Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.

TRAVEL

This position may require some travel.

In accordance with Colorado law: Colorado pay for this position is anticipated to be between $58,496.00 - $93,444.00 , actual offers to be determined based on applicant's skills, experience and education.
