Your Impact
As the Senior Manager, People, External Workers and Environment, you will guide team members through Sourcing Events (RFx events & Direct Negotiations) of varying spend, risk levels, and complexity. Shape and implement approaches to deliver on Optimize's ESG, risk, and automation strategies across the assigned categories. You will lead the day to day of the team and be responsible for the overarching People, External Workers and Environment Global Sourcing Team vision, strategy and priorities including saving goal delivery. Additionally, drive and reinforce the development and implementation of world-class sourcing processes, principles, and KPIs for the assigned categories.
Your work will help in the design and deliver of excellent sourcing experiences that include spending analysis, clean sheeting, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and cost breakdown analysis, sourcing strategy development, Product/Services requirements & features mapping, RFP Excellence, Business Case Development, and outstanding negotiation practices.

Your qualifications and skills
  • U.S. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; Advanced degree preferred
  • +10 years of relevant experience
  • Senior Presence and Toolkit: Demonstrated credible leadership, analytics, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
  • Strong Influencer with Collaborative Style: Ability to offer innovative ideas, constructively challenge conventional wisdom, and work collaboratively
  • Excellent Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze problems, make wise recommendations, and lead analysis and reporting of key metrics
  • Outstanding Communication and Proactivity: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Ability to Build Strong Relationships: Establish trust with colleagues across geographies, roles, and levels, and maintain a non-hierarchical approach with strong influencing capabilities.
