- Design and execute a strategy that enhances our culture, drives intentional hiring and career mobility, infusion of deliberate new skills and thought leaders and ensures workforce agility globally.
- Integrate global mobility, relocation, and internal talent marketplace to create seamless career journeys, foster internal growth, and attract and retain world-class talent.
- Champion opportunity, transparency, and inclusivity, aligning talent practices with business objectives and an employee-first culture.
Key Responsibilities Leadership
- Develop and execute a global talent acquisition and mobility strategy that aligns with business goals and powers a high-performing, inclusive culture.
- Lead the design and implementation of an internal talent marketplace platform, enabling employees to access new roles, projects, and learning opportunities.
- Drive intentional hiring, ensuring every hire is purposeful and supports our long-term workforce strategy.
- Foster collaboration across talent, mobility, and workforce planning platforms to drive strong Platform Operating Model business-results oriented outcomes
Internal Talent Marketplace & Career Mobility
- Build and scale an internal talent marketplace platform.
- Champion internal mobility ('internal first' mindset) by creating clear pathways for growth and cross-functional experiences.
- Collaborate with talent development and workforce planning communities to integrate career coaching, mentoring, and learning resources.
- Deploy AI-enabled internal talent marketplace platforms to identify skill gaps and recommend personalized learning and development opportunities.
- Utilize AI to map employee competencies and potential, ensuring high-potential talent is surfaced for critical roles and succession planning.
Talent Acquisition Excellence
- Lead a global team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
- Implement top-tier employer branding and recruitment marketing to attract diverse, high-caliber talent worldwide.
- Utilize advanced recruitment technology and analytics platforms to optimize sourcing, selection, and hiring outcomes.
- Use predictive analytics and AI-enabled platforms to forecast candidate success and support intentional, data-driven hiring decisions.
Employee & Candidate Experience
- Embed values of transparency, opportunity, and intentionality into every aspect of the talent acquisition/career mobility lifecycle.
- Establish feedback loops and continuous improvement mechanisms to evolve intentional hiring model and mobility programs in response to business needs and employee input.
- Enhance the candidate and employee experience with AI-driven chatbots, personalized communications, and instant access to information.
Global Mobility & Relocation
- Oversee global mobility processes, including international assignments, relocations, and distributed workforce models.
- Develop standardized policies for global mobility and relocation.
- Partner with People Business Partners, learning and development, legal, and business leaders to ensure seamless mobility experiences.
- Leverage the mobility platform to centralize data and automate processes.
- Apply AI and machine learning to streamline global mobility processes, including automating visa applications, predicting relocation costs, and optimizing assignment placements.
Strengthen alignment between Talent, Mobility, and Strategic Workforce Planning
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to drive the principles and process for successful workforce planning and execution.
- Employ AI within tools, systems and platforms to support end-to-end alignment of talent deployment with evolving business needs.
- Use AI-driven market and workforce data to inform long-term talent hiring and mobility strategies, ensuring agility and resilience.
Key Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in global talent acquisition, mobility, or related HR leadership roles.
- Expertise in global mobility, relocation policy, immigration compliance, and distributed workforce models.
- Success in building and scaling internal talent marketplace or mobility platforms, and leading communities of practice.
- Deep understanding of intentional hiring practices, workforce planning, and employer branding.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging HR technology and analytics platforms for strategic decision-making.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $350,000 and $400,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
