Creative Agency Project Manager

This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ office near Portland, Oregon. The expectation is for employees to be in-office 3 days or more per week, depending on business need. This in-office expectation is subject to change at business discretion.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We develop and produce unique, ownable and compelling brand and seasonal asset packages that our regional activation teams extend into media campaigns and marketplace experiences. The consumer is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it's paid or organic media strategy, brand, product or innovation storytelling, content creation or partner activations; our Creative Agency of Record (AOR) is critical to our success. As such, this position will project manage the detailed process of keeping the AOR and Columbia connected across a wide variety of communication, executions and go-to-market calendar waypoints.

HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Support VP OPS and Brand President with entirety of ongoing AOR relationship management and budget oversight of all related Retainer and Production Scope(s) of Work (SOW) under contract

  • Coordinate critical ongoing communication and work between AOR and Global Brand Design (GBD)

  • Manage Creative review schedule and share-out with Brand President

  • Ensure the AOR has all critical seasonal information and materials required to keep their creative processes on track

  • Ensure that Columbia Brand and channel leadership is updated and aware of key milestones and changes to creative inputs and outputs

  • Define, communicate and confirm delivery of all specific Deliverables established within each Production SOW required by the Brand. Track those deliverables throughout the process.

  • Maintain and document ongoing status meetings with your counterpart at the AOR

  • Manage access to key meetings, sample resources, historical digital content, and seasonal toolkits to for global use

  • Work directly with Procurement to make sure that Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) oversight program is in place and being supported

YOU ARE

  • An expert in project management inputs and outputs

  • Organized, capable of coordinating meetings, reviews and follow-ups related to the AOR

  • A strong communicator, including excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Detail centric

YOUHAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or work experience (agency) equivalent to a degree

  • 5+ years' experience supporting creative agency or like vendor client relationships in an account executive or related capacity

  • Proven project management and facilitation between AOR and client(s)

  • Demonstrated, technical understanding of creative, multi-channel asset specifications

  • Note - Potential travel related to agency meetings or actual productions
