ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: *Provide leadership and technical direction to ensure process designs conform to sanitary standards and have the capability to produce products that meet customer and business requirements. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.) B.S. Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university required with a minimum of seven (7) years engineering and operations experience in both manufacturing support and project engineering OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience should include two (2) years of experience in a managerial role with salaried direct reports. Demonstrated track record of meeting multiple objectives, team building skills, and excellent communication skills are a must. Experience in sanitary processing preferred; IE: food, liquids, cosmetic or medical. Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques and/or Six Sigma certification, and functional knowledge of quality management systems and statistical tools preferred.
