Join a dynamic and patient-focused team supporting a network of 15+ eye care clinics across Colorado. As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, helping them schedule appointments, verify insurance, and provide exceptional service in a high-volume call center environment.
Key Responsibilities: * Handle 80-100 inbound calls daily from established patients. * Schedule appointments across multiple clinics using a centralized system. * Verify insurance participation and answer non-urgent patient inquiries. * Make outbound calls to return voicemails and follow up on patient needs. * Respond to incoming emails during call downtimes. * Collaborate with doctors to optimize scheduling and assist with triaging optical issues. * Deliver a welcoming and professional experience for every patient interaction. Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED. * Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience in a patient-facing role (e.g., front desk in a high-volume setting). * At least 1 year of total call center experience (can include the 6 months of healthcare experience). * Experience in a healthcare call center. * Knowledge of insurance verification and scheduling systems. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Bilingual in Spanish. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency. * Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
