Responsibilities

Summary

This position prepares standard Company contracts and provides contract administration and contract support for the Contract Department, Customer Business Services, and Sales Departments, and other internal personnel and external customers as needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews contract requests for compliance with Company guidelines and procedures.
  • Prepares standard Company contracts based on information provided by the sales organization and sends to customers for signature.
  • Processes and releases purchase orders and contract documents received from customers.
  • Provides support for both internal personnel and external customers with regard to contract issues.
  • Updates department contract log spreadsheet with current contract status, and ensures that all applicable contract correspondence and documents are maintained within the contracts database.
  • Prepares, generates, analyzes and develops regular, ongoing and ad-hoc reports on a monthly and quarterly basis as required.
  • Responds in a timely and professional manner to contract information requests including requests by corporate and regional personnel for contracts database information.
  • Enters contract data into the contracts database.
  • Maintains tracking spreadsheets for Department documents as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of college course in business administration preferred.
  • Four (4) years of experience in computer database administration.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others.
  • Ability to work with others by training, supporting, and assisting to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through verbal or written correspondence.
  • Ability to develop accurate and effective reports that may explain technical information.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
