What you'll do:

As a Floating Optometrist, you'll practice full-scope optometry, providing exceptional care and educating patients about their ocular health. You'll be supported by a team of 13 dedicated employees and utilize advanced technology, including Optos and Visual Fields. This is a full-time position, with 8-hour workdays Monday through Friday, and alternating 6-hour Saturdays. You can expect to see up to 24 patients per day, managing a well-established patient base. You'll be joining a practice with long-tenured staff who are proficient in all aspects of the practice, fostering a healthy and friendly practice environment.

You're a motivated and energetic professional passionate about delivering best-in-class patient care in a fast-paced environment. You thrive on ensuring every patient interaction is exceptional and are eager to support the practice's goal of becoming the preferred optical location in the Conroe area. Candidates must hold a current or pending OD license in Texas. While not required, experience in pediatric eye care and treating glaucoma is a definite plus. Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions
