Essential Job Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on large industrial centrifugal chillers. Responsibilities include conducting refrigerant leak checks, making necessary repairs, and supporting the overall functionality of chiller systems. The position also involves learning and understanding the operation and diagnostics of chiller control panels to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM
Other Work/Responsibilities
  • Other duties as needed
Minimum Experience/Education
  • Minimum 1 year of experience.
Department Required Skills

  • Electrical knowledge
  • Universal EPA 608 certification
  • Experience with York and Carrier chillers

  • Climbs ladders and lift over 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Always wear proper PPE in chiller plants


Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • Computer skills and ability to perform basic functions on multiple software programs
  • Daily use of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Maximo (work management system)
  • Familiarity with Tim's (timekeeping system)


Required License or Certification
  • Universal EPA 608 certification
Valid NC Driver's License required? No
Commercial Driver's License Required? No
