Acara Solutions is seeking a direct hire HR & Accounting Specialist for a client in the Southtowns!
Type: Direct Hire
Salary: Up to 85,000K plus benefits, 401K, PTO, etc.!
Schedule: Monday-Friday, full-time, 100% onsite
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Payroll:
  • Process biweekly payroll
  • Perform general ledger accounting including journal entries, debits/credits, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with Controller on various finance-related tasks.
HR Administration:
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding processes including background checks and paperwork.
  • Answer employee questions regarding PTO, payroll, and general policies.
  • Coordinate with external HR broker on benefits and compliance-related matters.
  • Maintain personnel files and support a smooth employee experience.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or HR support roles.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Experience with QuickBooks and/or payroll software is a plus.
