Job Description: FNOL Specialist The FNOL (First Notice of Loss) Specialist plays a critical role in the initial intake and processing of commercial motor vehicle loss reports. This position is approximately 60% customer email communication and 40% data entry and claims case management.
Key Responsibilities * Serve as the first point of contact for incoming CM loss reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client-specific data requirements. * Communicate professionally via email with both external customers and internal teams to gather and clarify information. * Review and edit loss report folders to assess subrogation potential and apply standardized coding based on client parameters. * Resolve data discrepancies by contacting secondary drivers, fleet representatives, or using alternative data sources. * Set up and manage "letter control" and diary follow-ups for the Subrogation Team. * Ensure timely client and carrier notifications of FNOL within a 24-hour benchmark. * Provide daily operational support to the Subrogation Team. * Assist with overflow from the Collision Management loss report lines as needed. * Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications * Minimum of 2 years of corporate experience in customer service and data entry. * Proven experience in customer communication, particularly via email. * Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Outlook. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * High attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications * 2 years of experience in the auto insurance industry. * Prior experience in claims processing. * Familiarity with Lotus Notes. Soft Skills * Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. * Strong grammar and written communication. * Highly meticulous and detail-oriented. * Collaborative and team-oriented. Experience Level * Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
