Overview Geosyntec is currently seeking a Senior NPDES Permitting and Compliance Manager to join our Gulf Coast and Energy Branch in either our Houston, Texas or Baton Rouge, Louisiana office locations. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience providing wastewater and stormwater permitting and regulatory compliance services. This position will collaborate regularly with our Capital Project development teams, as well as other core practices within the firm such as natural resource specialists, air and noise specialists, geologists, and civil engineers. We operate under a sell-manage-do culture, and so we expect that you'd work on challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management. You may also be asked to take on project management responsibilities, along with staff management and development, and mentoring tasks. Some of the key responsibilities may include:
Managing and preparing NPDES permit applications for industrial dischargers to surface waters and publicly owned treatment works (POTWs) and negotiating permit conditions.
