Position Summary

This role is accountable to regional operations of the FIX Onboarding organization - a customer facing organization comprised of people managers and subject matter authorities related to FIX Engineering and FIX Level 3 support. The ideal candidate will have several years of people leadership experience along with knowledge in one or more related field (trading workflows, network administration, customer onboarding, etc.) They will be driven, personable, confident, willing to adapt, and understand change is the only constant.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of FIX onboarding managers and engineers.

  • Provide mentorship and supervise the workload for SLA, priority and efficiency order.

  • Mentor and counsel existing staff, and identify, recruit and develop talent.

  • Build a high-performance culture by leading optimally and differentiating performance, by promoting knowledge and experfection and by building a diverse and inclusive team.

  • Be the face of the organization. Identify meaningful issues, get personally involved when vital to instill confidence in our clients and business leadership.

  • Supervise and analyze metrics, collaborate with staff to make process improvements, and support and implement recommended changes.

  • Work on special projects and delegate as vital to accomplish goals in a timely manner.

  • Communicate optimally at all levels within the organization.

  • Conduct performance reviews, and make promotion and compensation recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience Required
  • 5+ years combined experience with some of the following: trading workflows, network administration, change / service management, customer onboarding, etc.

  • Crafting purpose: sets a direction and vision for others and aligns others to broader goals and organizational objectives builds a sense of shared purpose.

  • Obstacle anticipation: navigates bureaucracy with finesse preparing the team to overcome common obstacles in large customer organizations as well as any internal roadblocks.

  • Execution: demonstrates the abilities required to complete a certain task and drive results.

  • Operational excellence: Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless transactions, services and products, handles monetary assets and other resources to optimise cost efficiency.

  • Accountability: Takes ownership for one's actions regardless of outcomes; feels accountable for the quality and timeliness of an outcome or task.

  • Emotional intelligence: understands manages and controls own emotions and handles interpersonal relationships efficiently and empathetically.

  • Client engagement: Builds and capitalizes on knowledge of client and / or internal partner needs and objectives to provide maximum value.

  • Measuring efficiency: Identifies and sets up key measures to supervise performance, reviewing, analysing and interpreting these to generate insights for decision-making.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $132,600 - $221,000. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
