Position Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Wage: $20-$22/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-3pm QPS is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support our warehouse operations. This role is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring products and materials are handled efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and has experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting. This is an associate to hire role opportunity in Oconomowoc, WI. Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders - Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report findings to the appropriate department - Accurately document and record all received goods into the inventory system - Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to customer and carrier requirements - Generate shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels - Schedule pickups and coordinate with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and LTL - Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas and ensure inventory is properly stored - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely - Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits - Support other warehouse functions and perform general labor as needed Shipping & Receiving Clerk Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred - Forklift certification a plus or willingness to become certified - Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software and ERP systems - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods - Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills - Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
