Product Owner

In your role as Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, roadmap, transformation and operational excellence of your product. Within the broader M365 team, your product will be focused on SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Copilot, and several other Microsoft Applications.

You will work alongside a Product Manager to develop a roadmap for your product and then alongside a team of analysts, engineers and architects to execute this roadmap. As a part of this process, you will collaborate with our business partners to understand business needs and help prioritize your roadmap. You will also partner closely with vendors like Microsoft to understand future enhancements coming to your applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills as well as the strong ability to prioritize and delegate work. Given the ever-evolving nature of these applications, a strong candidate will be able to adapt quickly and leverage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The Collaborative Technology Solutions Team is focused on delivering IT products, applications and services that enable our employees to collaborate and be productive. The CTS team is a part of the Koch Technology IT Employee Services Organization which provides value-added strategic partnerships with other Koch companies in ownership and support of several key processes and platforms. • Provide direction and prioritization to the product team based on business value, technical feasibility, and other relevant factors.
• Drive accountability within our product team and product vendors for business outcome driven deliverables.
• Work directly with vendors to stay up to date on new features, enhancements, product retirements and changes.
• Develop the strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvements to enable the product team or to optimize existing processes and have a long-term strategy and vision for the product stack.
• Plan and organize functional work assignments for your product team with agile concepts and frameworks. Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, up-to-date, and aligned with the product vision.
• Engage in analysis and decision-making processes for new initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology vendors to understand their capabilities and strategic roadmaps. While seeking to align with leadership and stakeholders on their current initiatives.
• Track value measures and use data as a strategic asset in decision making.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and resilience of each application.
• Plan and organize functional work assignments for your product team with agile concepts and frameworks.
• Partnership with business leaders and architects to stay abreast of market trends and drive creative destruction, where profitable .

• Experience as an IT product owner.
• Experience being a strong business partner understanding their strategies to support them.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple businesses.
• Experience with formal or informal leadership.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Strong Economic thinking skills

• Relevant work experience in Product Ownership or Project Management.
• Relevant work experience in M365 platforms.
• Working within an Agile environment is preferred.
